Does this site allow pictures of women?
Pictures of women are allowed equally to pictures of men. Both are allowed as long as they are not immodest, provocative, or otherwise specifically banned. However, this is not an image sharing site. Images are allowed only as part of a discussion or on humor threads.
How can I add a new topic?
Click on the subforum you want to post in. There will be a button that says "New Topic". To add a new topic in the General Discussion forum, you can also click on " Quick links" and then "New Topic in General Discussion".
What does it mean that moderators may edit for grammar but are not required to do so?
Moderators generally do not enforce specific grammatical rules, but posts need to be comprehensible. If a post does not meet this standard, a moderator may choose to delete it or edit it at his discretion.
Does this site have something to do with Sholem Aleichem?
No. Though Sholem Aleichem, the author of Tevye the Milkman (which was adapted into Fiddler on the Roof) and several other works, did use the word "Yehupetz" in his writing, the word has gained popularity outside of his work and is not a direct reference to it.
