Unless your job is to switch to Quickbooks desktop, why do you need Windows 7?

Should cable companies etc. be allowed to make it hard to cancel?

Some of these companies make it hard for people to switch by making them stay on the phone for hours. Shouldn't the customer's stating that he or she wants to cancel be enough to cancel? Why is the company allowed to drive the customer crazy?

Cooking hack: always multiply the amount of onions in any recipe by zero.

Re: Legal forms of deception

One that I've mentioned a lot in real life is that Quickbooks Online advertises that you can always switch back to the desktop version if you want to. Of course you can.... technically. You do need a 32 bit version of Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 though. How many people do you know that still...

Wikipedia wrote:The Supreme Court stated in Burdick v. United States that acceptance of a pardon carries an "imputation of guilt" and is a confession to such guilt.
Susan B. Anthony didn't accept this pardon, though.

Is there any brand of white noise machine that is battery powered or stays directly on the outlet?

I think that most people see right through it. I don't know if it is at all effective.

Do children need letter/number grades?

I saw an article, I think in the Hamodia magazine, that said that children should be graded pass/fail. I think the author said that the struggling kids feel bad for their low grades and that the "smart" kids don't need their A grades. I personally agree that children shouldn't be given let...

"Avoid ingredients you can't pronounce."

I don't think it makes any sense. The difficulty of the pronunciation has nothing to do with the safety of the ingredients. If it did, "acai" or "ananus sativus" would be dangerous ingredients, but "rattlesnake venom" would be safe.

It also really does depend whether you yourself have the ability to decide not to spend time with this person.

Any good mask making tuturials?

I find the disposable ones awfully uncomfortable, and I know that I can buy a reusable mask from a store as well, but I would really like to make my own because then I can modify the size a little bit. Does anyone here have any recommendations for a tuturial?

It's better than Windows 10 in some ways, but it is no longer supported. I still miss XP.

Re: What do you say to someone who is rude for no reason?

Still, sometimes it needs to be called out or else the person will do the same in every single interaction for the rest of his life.
