Because that is not the question. Yes, there are other questions to be asked, but not all at once. Ultimately, we do not choose because the choice we are making is better than the alternative, but because it is better than not choosing.

In the United States, it seems that people are expected to put most of their focus on their careers. A career is not just a way of making money to live on.
