Most kumzitz songs are easiest to play on guitar on Am/Em.
Here is Acheinu on Am:
Acheinu
I. (2x)
Am Dm Am E7
Acheinu kol beis yisrael
Am Dm
Acheinu kol beis yisrael
F Am Dm Am
Hanesunim ba'tzara ba'tzara uvashivya
Dm Am Em Am
Ha'omdim bein bayam u'vein bayabasha

II. (2x)
Am G Em Am
Hamakom yerachem yerachem aleyhem
Am G Am/G/F/G
Veyotzieim mitzara lirvacha
Am G Em Am
U'mayafeila leora u'meshibud legeulah
Am G F G Am
Hashta bagala uvizman kaariv
This is a good strumming pattern for this song and many other kumzitz-style songs. (d-down strum u-up strum)

Sorry, the strum came out unclear. This is what I meant:
|d d u
|1 2 3 4|

I just noticed it came out unclear again. It's down on one, wait on two, down on 3, up on 4.

Here's another kumzits classic now that we can hear music again:

Shema Yisroel
Am---------------------------Dm
He raised his hand to wave goodbye
Am------------------------Dm
Saw the pain in his mother's eyes
F---------------------------Am
Who left her little precious boy of four
Am---------------Dm
In a citadel of ash and stone
Am---------------Dm
That preached a faith unlike his own
F---------------------------C
Perhaps he just may yet survive this war

G--------------------Am
In the shadows stood a man in black
G-----------------------Am
"My child," he said, "you must not look back"
G------------------------Dm
Yet one image lingered, the tears on her face
F-----------------------E
And mother's words from their last embrace

CHORUS:
Am-------------F
Shema, Shema Yisrael
------------------C--------------G
Know that there is but one G-d above
Dm
When you feel pain, when you rejoice
Am-----------------(C)
Know how He longs to hear your voice
G--------Em----------Am
Hashem Elokeinu, Hashem Echad

Am--------------Dm
Deep within the iron gate
Am-----------------Dm
Far from the stench of war and hate
F-----------------------Am
He knew not of a world gone insane
Am----------------------Dm
You must believe us, he was told
Am----------------Dm
Our faith alone can save your soul
F------------------------------------C
Please let us heal your wounds and ease your pain

G------------------------Am
He tried not to forget his past, his home
G----------------------------Am
But he was so very young and all alone
G---------------------------Dm
Visions of a shtetel, once vivid and clear
F-------------------------- E
Began to fade, and all but disappeared

CHORUS

Am
The winds of war had finally passed
Am
One man took on a sacred task
F---------------------------------Am
To bring the scattered Jewish children home
Am
He travelled far, from place to place
Am
A quest to reignite the faith
F--------------------------C
Of those sent into hiding long ago

G ----------------------Am
He entered the fortress grey and cold
G -------------------------Am
Your kind is not among us, he was told
G------------------------------Dm
Hashem above, he whispered, please don't let me fail
F------------------------- E
As he began to sing Shema Yisrael

CHORUS x2

Strumming pattern:
low part:
1-P (Thumb) down 2- P (Thumb) up 3- down 4- down
chorus:
Strumming pattern mentioned earlier in the thread, 1-down 2-wait 3-down 4-up
