Schools should open in the Catskills
Summer camps can't open normally, so we need to make it up to the kids. Why not run a three month boarding school in the late summer/fall, with some country activities thrown in? It'll be fun, and the kids will learn better than they have on their Zoom sessions.

School is not camp. If you take away summer vacation for school, the kids will not be motivated and there won't be much learning happening. The ones who want to learn mostly did well on zoom/phone lessons.

You mean schools should operate year round in the Catskills? I think there are a few for those who live upstate.

How would that work? People should be forced to own two homes?
Why would this force people to own two homes? Do people own two homes for summer camp?virtuosointraining wrote: ↑July 5th, 2020, 6:00 pm How would that work? People should be forced to own two homes?

You mean we should have boarding schools. I don't see the advantage in that.Cranberry wrote: ↑July 5th, 2020, 8:20 pmWhy would this force people to own two homes? The summer camps already have the grounds, and kids would be able to have fun after-school activities.virtuosointraining wrote: ↑July 6th, 2020, 2:14 pmYou mean we should have boarding schools.
