Should all cameras be on during a Zoom meeting?

Some say that they should be so that people can see each other like they do in person, and so that the person leading the meeting can confirm that everyone is actually there. Others say that it isn't like a normal in-person meeting because people don't bring their houses (or children and pets) to their in-person meetings, and also, at a regular meeting, people see each other from a much bigger distance than is between a person and a webcam.

I think people should try to put their cameras on if possible, but shouldn't be forced to.

It is definitely an issue that either you are actually looking at the other person, or they think you are looking at them.

It depends on what type of meeting
